Nick leads investments in software, infrastructure, and AI at NewView Capital, including the firm's investments in CloudWalk, EliseAI, Hightouch, Huntress, Inspiren, Island, Owner, Prepared (acquired by Axon), Sigma, Stord, Verkada, and Wellhub. He serves on the Board of Directors for Inspiren and is a Board Observer for Stord.

Before joining NewView, Nick worked with technology companies on mergers and acquisitions at Qatalyst Partners. His transaction experience includes Hortonwork’s $5.2B merger with Cloudera, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s acquisition of Insomniac Games, Commvault’s acquisition of Hedvig, and Broadcom’s $117B bid for Qualcomm.

Nick graduated summa cum laude from the University of San Diego, where he received a BBA in Finance with a minor in Accountancy. An Oregon native, Nick loves the outdoors and the Portland Trail Blazers. Some of his favorite activities include skiing, yoga, and wakesurfing.
